About Cliff Graham
Cliff Graham has held a lot of jobs. A pastor’s son, he has worked cutting firewood, building fencing, clearing forests, poured concrete, dug ditches, studied as a college student, suffered through Hebrew and Greek as a seminary student, served in the United States Army as an enlisted military police soldier, received a commission as an officer in the Army Chaplain Corps, worked in churches on ministry and pastoral staff, and spent months in Africa with a safari company.
In all of these experiences, he saw men who lacked interest in the Bible and what it meant to be a man of God. He was passionate about catering to these men, and creating material that spoke to their interests.
He and some of his friends talked about developing exciting stories based on men of the Bible. They decided that the real life adventures of King David and his band of warriors known as the Mighty Men, found in 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles, were some of the most gripping. After five years of research and writing, the result was his debut novel, Day of War, the first entry in a series of five called Lion of War.
Since the Lion of War series has released, Cliff has become even more passionate about creating “good battle” for men, and inviting them to join him on the adventure of true masculinity. He appears for speaking engagements geared towards men, and has continued in writing novels about men that God has risen up to be great warriors.
Cliff lives in Utah with his wife, Cassandra, and their children. You can learn more about supporting his work at www.patreon.com/cliffgraham
